the course alone (all diving equipment included) usually around RM850-RM950 (less RM1k). not include transportation to the island, boat transfer, accommodation & meals. I suggest u need to save at least RM1300.

Groupon: http://www.groupon.my/deals/travelcity/Quiver-Dive-Team/716325745
RM1160 (almost All-in) but the location is at Pulau Sembilan, Perak not really a favorite place for divers. Divers are more prefer east coast islands such Tioman, Perhentian, Redang, Tenggol and many more....

When do you plan to take the course..? and where is your location..?

p/s: Dont worry I friend with 'snorkellers' too...

about 1,000 - 1,100 you can get OW, lodging, ferry, which is good deal compared to what i paid for.

if tioman or perhentian, then you just get a bus which is abt 40-50 per way.

get started and it will change your life!

Please bare in mind that the east coast monsoon usually hit the islands around oct/nov-feb/mac... most dive center will be closed within that period.

dont worry!!! even if ur OW cost rm3000 its all worth it when u experience what scuba can open your eyes to..

CREDIT CARD LA!!!! lol..

you need to quicken your pace if you want to get your OW this year on the east coast.

fyi, UMWians very friendly.. these guys even advise me on buying fins, BCD and camera before i got my OW..

cheers mate, welcome to the club
diving is AWESOME!!!!
