Tunaturner its monsoon. Of coz you will have lots of rainy days and stronger winds with bigger and choppy waves.
Some dive shops still operates during monsoon but this one you have to call and ask. Not only that , the ferry fm mersing and tjg gemok only operates when the
wheather is good. Mother nature wont announce that she wants to have all 6months, 4 weeks, 7 days and 24 hours of thunder storms with no sunshine break in between right?
Safe or not of coz the safest time to dive is not during the monsoon season. Even the fish took shelter and why not we human?
if anything happens to you during the dive like example thunderstorms and so on, even the search and rescue team will be put on hold until the wheather is safe enough for them to go.
This is my logical point of view.

i think its always a risk to dive in uncertain weather. remember when we first took OW? what is the objective of diving? to have FUN.. why take the risk and all the uncertainties for just a sheer moment of pleasure that might cause you to regret. :)

just my 20 cents
diving is AWESOME!!!!

Thanks run, daylight and grimjour for taking the words out of my mouth. I could never say it out loud coz I'm just a noob.

But the message is clear; dive safe everyone!
