TLSI- Diving Aur/Dayang is not cheap anymore

I bet many of you have read the news pass around in FB about the new fee for divers around islands within Johor District.

1day of diving around the islands of Johor = RM200
so just imagine 3D3N LOB trip = RM200x3 = RM600 (just for fee exclude dive packages!!!)
Furthermore you still have to pay for the conservation fee which is RM5 for (for malaysian >18 years) and RM3 (for malaysian <18years).
Foreigners >18years old = RM20 and <18years old =RM10

It is said that the fee will be collected at the jetty tjg leman and jetty mersing.

This take effect immeadiately. The islands are Pulau Besar, Pulau Sibu, Pulau Aur, Pulau Rawa, Pulau Tinggi and Pulau Pemanggil

i think the price is absurd.
i dont entirely think the reason is for conservation.
Maybe the johorian got marah their island rented by foreigners or something.

How can RM200perday whereas SIPADAN the world's top famous place to dive only RM40( well heard rumuor going to increase too)

ermmm just an opinion.....
Haha....Sabah don't have private football club like Johor DT......
according to my source in Johor, this is a new Pengarah, join last year, the only one work with the government as permanent staff
the rest of his staff - contract workers/staff......
again the question is - the money collected is channel to where?

Well, there is always a loophole in all kind of procedures. What the DC can do is if really wants to continue to get the support of fellow divers all around, They can registered u as student divers. The most they can charge is RM200 instead of RM200 per day. OOOOppppsss will i get shot with this????
