Newbie

Hi everyone! After years of dithering I finally signed up for the OWD and am in the midst of it now.  I wish I had done it earlier!  Cant wait to finish my certification and get out there.  Considering 2/3 of our planet is covered in water, its definitely something I should have done earlier!

basically regulators is personal preference.....
some prefer the high end like poseidon, some swear by their aqualang legend, some forever stick to scubapro & some stay with apeks & some don't bother to buy, because rental unit always available, maintenance free.....
some make a progress from the medium type to high end regulators along the way.
normally before we make a decision to buy a regulator set after getting the diving license, we try out our instructor/DM/dive centre/buddy/friend regulators, to get the feel & the difference & decide which one will suit u.
try first, no harm trying, any regulator is a good regulator if u can breath with it underwater......good luck bro.....

I'm planning to be at MIDE perhaps on the second day as well. Might as well be putting a nite in KL. Old man cannot pull stunt driving back and forth Penang-KL on the same day.. Hehe
