This is really sad. I knew him from MMU's diving trip to Pulau Dayang. Then I went on to dive with him in Tioman for a few times. Maybe like 3 trips or something like that over the summer. To Kak Yanni and his family, my condolonces. May his soul lie in peace. Amin

Innalillahi-wainnaillahi-rajiu'un. My condolences to the wife, kids and family. May Allay shower him all His Rahmat and place him among the People of Iman..

May he receive the rewards of my doa and Al-Fatihah, and may those rewards brings brightness and cheer in his afterlife.

The rewards from his education and knowledge that he passed on to the diving community will be continually be rewarded to him as long as his students and charges continue to impart the knowledge they posses, InsyaAllah (Allah willing).

Fadzil Berima is in his 30s and his lung complications has nothing to do with diving. his untimely death was not related to diving at all.

Please note that in this section there should be no post mortem statement.

Got this email from Yanni so here it is :

Dear All

I would like to extend my most heartfelt thank you for all your kind words and moral
support that you have given to both me and the Late Instructor Fadzil.

It was truly tough and sad for me as his wife and his family to see him leave this
world for good on that fateful morning in Hospital Kuantan. He passed away due to
cronic acute pneumonia at 0500 hours on Nov 14Nov07 after being in coma and life
support machine for 6 days.

The Late Instructor Fadzil will be missed dearly by friends and family and also to all
whom have known him in his life.

I would personally like to thank ALL of you for being there for me during this time
which I will never forget through out my life.

I am still sad and grieving till today however with the moral help from all of you, I
should be back on my feet and pull up my socks and carry on with my life and take this
positively.

Also not to forget my Special Thanks for those whom have gone through all the trouble
to come visit me and the Late Fadzil at both Hospital Kuantan and Chini Felda in
Pahang . Thank you dear friends. I would NOT be able to handle my emotions without all of you...

Great sadness,  I have noted an original poem that gave me help at times of personal loss, suited more for the cold of europe but expressing the wish that we remember all the positive and happy things.

Do not stand at my grave and weep,
I am not there, I do not sleep.
I am in a thousand winds that blow,
I am the softly falling snow.
I am the gentle showers of rain,
I am the fields of ripening grain.
I am in the morning hush,
I am in the graceful rush
Of beautiful birds in circling flight,
I am the starshine of the night.
I am in the flowers that bloom,
I am in a quiet room.
I am in the birds that sing,
I am in each lovely thing.
Do not stand at my grave and cry,
I am not there. I do not die
Better cold-dive than no-dive
