hello mrikanbilis,

it is a pleasure to share with you all! since we're getting into sharing-is-caring, would like to ask opinion and advice from the gurus - better still a doctor.

well, i not only bodoh in computer but bodoh diving also. i actually having difficulty equalizing in the water because of my sinus problem. thus i have to take my own sweet time going down. then everything is fine.

the thing is... i bleed after each dive. EACHBLOODYDIVE! which means either i have nose bleed or i cough blood. so is this the aiyah-normal-la or should i do something about it.

no matter what the outcome is, IWILLCONTINUE2DIVE!

Me no real doctor, only a quack one.  :)
but i do have a sinus problem, much like u.

my nose gets blocked in the morning and it will be super difficult to descend.

if this sounds familiar to you, then u need (insert advertising jingle here) clarinese!

"with over 20 secret herbs and spices, it will guarantee you..."

oops, wrong script..  :D

seriously tho, if the symptoms sound similar, then try taking clarinese (the non-drowsy ones) about an hour before your first dive.

If its not, then i think u should really wait fo a REAL doctor to reply.

;D

Bro Daniel .... I ve got a sinus problem too . went for operation on sinus called wash out. But after the ops no problem. You can check with a ENT specialist and tell them  the problem.

If you dont want, follow deepblu recommendation and try to drink a lot of water before and after diving. Try to decent and ascent slowly during diving.

Adik's advice and Lara's advice are both right, but make sure you don't drink water WHILE diving...that water got lots of piss and dead creatures..

thanks mr sheik for moving the topic here.

to further explain my situation, my sinus actually don't look that bad. the only thing is that i just couldn't breathe with both nostrils. just one at the time. funny huh...

every dive i took, whether confine or open water, i will anticipated a BLOODY-DIVE-TRAUMA experience. I still can remember my first discovery dive - nose bleed with bloody phlegm - lasted for awhile. i can feel there's a "kebocoran" in my throat/lungs - i don't know. i did not feel nausea, no double vision but just bloody nose bleed and bloody phlegm!

so, is my sinus causes the bleeding or what? expert anyone?
