Bali Hyperbaric Chamber in Bali is located in Sanglah Public Hospital, Jalan Diponegoro, Denpasar – 80114. It officially opens from Monday to Saturday, from 8.30 AM to 1 PM. However, it is available by appointment or emergency, via phone number 0361-227911 to 15, at ext 232. It works together with Diving Alert Network (DAN) from Australia.

Bali Hyperbaric Chamber provides the treatment named Washing Out Silent Bubbles, which lasts for approximately 2 hours. We get into the chamber with pressure of 2.8 atm or equivalent to diving at depth of 18 meter, to release silent bubbles which might be still trapped inside our body. In this chamber, the treatment is just to breathe 100% oxygen under hyperbaric doctor supervision. To get this, we’d better make appointment beforehand to make sure there is a space left for us because sometimes it can be full, unless for emergency.

Treatment in this Bali hyperbaric chamber is also advised to be done by non-diver at least once a year. This is due to the fact that breathing oxygen in the chamber with pressure, silent bubbles inside our body which cause pain or stiffness can be released. No wonder, this treatment can make us fresh and healthy. Besides, the wrinkled nerves that cause the disturbance for sight and hearings can also be cured in this Bali hyperbaric chamber under doctor supervision.

If the bubbles are excessive, they can cause decompression sickness and paralysis. The treatment for this is also available in Bali hyperbaric chamber. The duration depends on the level of sickness and can be done repeatedly. Please note that the treatment for decompression sickness is needed immediately, not more than 48 hours after the incident or known, which known as “Golden Time” when the possibility to be cured is still high.

Before we can get into the chamber, there are some preliminary checks, like thorax check, blood pressure, and ear membrane check. After we pass the tests, we change clothes with the ones from the hospital and store our belongings in the lockers provided. However, books and mineral water are allowed to bring into the chamber. After the treatment, we must not fly within 12 hours or more, depending on the treatment requirements.
