Suunto D6 Strap

Post Number:#1  Postby maplin » Thu Oct 03, 2013 10:15 am

Hi, i wanted to replace my D6 strap and Im not sure how much it will cost locally and is it possible to change it myself if I buy the strap on-line? If not, any idea which dive shop having the service to change it for a reasonable price?

Hope someone can share their experience on this.

TQ

reasonable price or not , the thing still cost you hundreds. The problem with Sunnto DC, their wrist strap is a customize item. You have to buy with Sunnto. Unless you get lucky
you found a wrist strap that able to fit the design at any watch shop but then the screw is also a bit customize.
last time i posted about this link http://www.tibby-adapters.com/products/ ... -adapters/
changing from a normal strap sunnto to a velcro type. My d6 strap still look ok but sometime i worries me. a friend of mine had her strap broken and lucky it was still on land.
If the thing happend whie underwater. Goodnye old dc, hello new dc.

hahaha jumper u didn't survey the market price for those stuff before you buy the DC? but that phuket is rubbish. might as well send to sealantis but for strap actually you can just go to the watch shop and have a strap that durable enough to wear for underwater. Try check the price for swatch scuba strap.
To change the strap i think there is no need to open the whole thing.
