and btw mart1njo3 usually we do the pool session just to hang around, practice some skills, test new equipments, breathe compressed air for those who have not been diving for a while (like ME :( ) and just goofing around wasting time and looking forward to eat ayam kampung after the session (if at cheras that is) heh :)

Hi mart1njo3..

Unfortunately there wasnt any pool session last sunday. The Cheras DBKL Pool was booked for an event and Shah Alam Pool was a little bit too far to some of us. BUT no worries folks, we shall do it this weekend.

BTW mart1njo3..

There are many things we can do at the swimming pool. I for one would do some laps before bring down the gear underwater. Most of us would go to the pool for practise sessions.

Example :
Practise the deployment of SMB.
Practise towards a perfect bouyancy.
Practise the standard underwater excercises.
Etc.. Etc.. Etc..

Oh.. other than monkeying around we practise the above.

At the end of the day.. we get some good excercise, learned something new from a fellow friend/DM/Instructor on diving technics, get to practise diving skills, get to meet new member there, have one excellent nasi ayam kampung at the veledrome.

Sounds like a perfect Sunday to me.

I went to S. Alam pool in the evening with my buddy. The water was really clear but to my suprise the fee had been increased, which is RM45 for weight & tank rental only (before is RM30). I didn't ask for full equipment rental. May be in the future I should consider another pool. With RM15 extra I could have fill my stomach with ayam kampung at Cheras pool!! :D :D

nice to know that the shah alam pool is now clean... hard to hear those kind of review earlier this year heh :) .. anyways glad u guys had a good time at the pool session, but regret to hear that the price had shoot up a lot.. well the pool is indoor anyway so it's logical that it's tad more expensive than cheras..
