AQUARIA dive

Post Number:#1  Postby zephyr » Fri Aug 17, 2007 7:01 pm

I've had this on my mind for quite some time yet I never had the time to really go for one...

[color=#0000ff]AQUARIA DIVE WITH SHARKS

Yes, I pretty much now that it might sound corny (ooo what's the fun, and why don't we just go to any island and do so)..However, my justification is, it is just something I'd like to do and why not?

So, I am calling anyone (especially my girls), care to join me? A bit pricy but hey, use the charm and we might just get the discounts...  ;) (that is to be confirmed though).. or better still, has anyone gone for one? If yes, care to share your experience with us? Words of advice would come handy..  B-)

Anyway, details...

For Certified Divers

Equipment hire, DVD of your dive along with the training footage and shark conservation film, “Dive with Sharks” T-Shirt and Certificate.

Total Damage: RM400

If you go for the last evening dive, you can dive longer (I think) bcos no one will dive after you.

This sounds like a great idea but RM400 is very expensivelah for one dive!!!!!! If our own equipment, then cheaper kan????
If it is cheaper then i will consider.. if RM400, i rather go to TIOMAN and do nitrox....

Zety, how many divers can they take at one time???

Bonjour everyone.

I agree with snafuette that RM400 is rather X. I think if Aquaria lower price to say RM200, more MUW members may want to experience that dive. Maybe, MUW can organise something like that with Aquaria?

they should have like discounts for those who have myKad like they have on the entrance fee. and yes, I do agree that RM400 is expensive (very) but guess its a good one off experience if you really wanna go see sharks and stuff that you might not see in the sea every time you go diving. but yes, if anyone got a bit of influence, tell Aquaria to lower the price lah ;)

RM400 it's a bit too pricy even if it's for charity. RM200 shud be ok. maybe MUW cud negotiate for a better offer.  :glasses11:

RM 200 reasonable. if you can get them to give the whole MUW community RM200 for their dives at Aquaria, even better ;).hehehe...good idea on putting up the banner as well as the charity thingy ;)

we have to see the numbers that interested. If there are big volume that keen to do so, I am very sure that MUW would be able to negotiate for a better price with Aquaria.

I would love to dive at Aquaria KLCC. might be diving there next weekend with my bros and cousins. since lazy go anywhere far for diving (and also the short time I have still in Malaysia before proceeding back to Edinburgh). so not sure if I will be joining MUW if you guys plan one. but if cheap, might consider going again ;)

I'll try to nego for a better price. FYI, dun look down on the "tank", it cost more than RM10 million to build one.
