ie, you have to keep sweeping the torch from side to side to see the area clear or not before you plop your belly to take a picture.
but hey...RM 45 ? somebody said? how to complain?
can you post some pics of the inside? wanna see what are the differences between the one thats currently selling now.. :D .. looks damn cheap tho..
will post tomo, but looks diff from this black housing one, mine got CREE on the metal base and also the heat-sink is better designed.no more stock ar? i bought 2 luckily. one of the best diving purchases ever...did you guys see it on sale at one of the booth at MIDE 2012 ? they adv at RM120...my wife and i were giggling

just to add...my yellow torch has only one level of brightness. although the switch can be turned to 3 positions, the brightness stays the same.

RM60 for a torch for diving is consider cheap, if it works & i believe it will work
basically it is a copycat from D14 LED Lenser (Frogman) (somewhere around 40 pound), it is similar......
i actually have both, the original D14 LED Lenser (Frogman) & Made in China unit (from sport diving magazine - free gift hehe...)

just got back from Dayang.. used this for 2 night dives.... all i can say that it is as good, or way better than rental torches!!.. impressive!

Buy from me la....I've bought for a number of MuW-ians.
Anyway, mine's also still working. Bought mine in April 2012. Brilliant stuff...

planning to get it from the same guy from Jonker Street.. nearby my place only.. easy.. and RM60 only! anyone wanna tag along?? muahahha.. *stealing toodus business* :)
also bought another unit for someone the other day.. even tho the internals isnt as good as the previous CREE version, but underwater it works perfectly.. happy with its performance - brought it for deep dive, and it works!! didnt screw up..
as long as it lasts for at least 10 dives, i am happy..

Wed Sep 19, 2012 8:53 am
i have no idea.. box says 120 lumens, and it says its using CREE LED.. but i see the LED nowhere around it says its CREE.. plus its china made so i doubt i can trust whatever it says on the box, except that it uses 4 AA batteries.. o well, as long as im happy and it works good underwater im fine.
