I got both kinds, like Toodus' and the link from decimal86. One is rated higher lumens but noticably brighter with wider beam than the other and came with free batteries. I will be wrapping both of the with bike inner tube to give it a nicer grip. I will know if I trully like them once I try them on a few 30 meter dives

The picture at the very top, the torch on the right with the three lines near the on/off switch, even though rated 120 lumens, is a bit brighter than the one on the left which is rated 180 lumens. At any rate, hope they both work underwater.

I bought this torch on 9/3/2012. Used it for the first time in Tenggol. I've done 20 odd dives now with the torch. Works brilliantly. Mine has not flooded yet despite most people joking that it will flood on my first descend.

RM80 is nothing ler these days. A meal in TGIF will set you back RM90.00

I'm getting one for Miss Carmen tomorrow. So, if want, I'll tumpang beli. And Bro Narco from can vouch how easy it is when it comes to buying the torch from me.

I heard my name being called.. Yep, Toodus is a great dealer. The torch I got works good in land. Will give it a test underwater tomorrow once I reach Tuna Bay. Don't care, I'm gonna torch during daylight all the way during the dive to give it an ultimate test.

Thanks Bro Narco,

Let us know if it works underwater. If it doesn't , I'll refund you back. But have you tried it in your sink yet? Anyway, let us know.

Bro decimal, can show us the final product of a torch attached to the head. I tried it once but the heat from the batteries warmed my temple. I decided to take it off and juggle the torch with my pointer and camera.... damn kelam kabut sometimes...

Fellas, had just got back from Perhentian. Nope, no night dive but the torch works perfectly in my 2 dives. Shine the inner part of sugar wreck like a light sabre from star wars. No leak whatsoever. Used the provided china batt all the way. Perfect birthday dives for me.

If you guys buy from me, I would choose test it first and choose the color you want. Plus , I don't receive payment until it reaches your hand and you tested it. Some forummers have bought it from me like that.

bought from jonker street in melaka. must try and buddy buddy with the boss hopefully can get cheaper by abit alot  .. if a few is interested i'll try talk to the boss during the weekends when i go back home.. maybe can save some $$ for my second piece

havent tested tho.. might get another for myself as spare..  might also pass it to my friend to test it out since he's got another trip soon.. my next trip is only in sept  .. too damn long!

anyone around subang/sunway area wanna bring this one out for a trial??  eager to know whether this one lasts, or doesnt..

slightly different than toodus's torch.. mine duno wat LED they're using.. if it lasts for >10 dives, then its worth it..

btw there's 2 modes, one brighther, anotherone less bright.. see video from 00:24 onwards..

Guys,

I went to the Petaling Street stall and they're selling this one also. NO more the old one I sold to Narco. Apparently, this is the newer type. So, who wants to buy from me???

the old torch--the yellow colour one, Cree bulb--- has been tested 20 times one dive up to 33m !!  just came back from Komodos...BUY !! but just a minor critique-lah, very minor, the throw is fantastic (for signalling someone) but the floodlight capability is poor.

ie, you have to keep sweeping the torch from side to side to see the area clear or not before you plop your belly to take a picture.

but hey...RM 45 ? somebody said? how to complain?
