Hmm..Specs yg paling kecik and paling power is the MacBook 2.0GHz Intel Core 2 Duo system priced at RM5,299

if I have the money, the most powerful system and portable is the MacBook Pro 15.4 inch Widescreen 2.33Ghz Intel Core 2 Duo..priced at RM9,699

:) macbook is just about able to manage the photo and video editing, primarily for blogs, small scale picture editing. But you would probably have to beli the aperture software and add in more hard disk memory. But like what bijan says... mac book pro....lagi power...

but...its darn cool just to have one.

p/s if you are going to get macbook...forget about getting the black version unless its absolutely a must for you to have that colour. Price you pay for the colour can be used to buy more memory!

i would have to agree that 5.5k for the black macbook is a bit too much but hey, black look sexy haha.. anyhow mac nowadays can do anything a PC can do.. heck they're using the same processor nowadays anyway and can even run windows.. i used to be a mac user from 2001 - 2005 and have used Mac OS 8 to the latest Mac OS X and all i can say that the OS is getting better everyday.. and guess what, i managed to sell my 5 year old ibook for rm 1800 last year heh :) so a mac is pretty much a good investment

I'm using an iBook G4 bought at the end of 2005 just before the MacBooks with the intel Core Duo came out. Was kicking myself after that. But using a Mac and its OS X platform is sweeeeeeeeeeet! Who needs Windows anyway when OS X has way cooler features and is much more user friendly. Plus maintenance is soooo much easier on it.

Photoediting even on an iBook is possible, but definitely need more memory and hard disk space for video. Mem and hard disk is expandable so don't have to worry bout that.

Unless you're getting a Mac for gaming, then i think it's a very worthwhile investment.

lets not forget that Macs are less prone to viruses - i can basically Limewire away and not worry about infecting my mac(hine).

why not get windows base notebook(exclude the os), high end specs. i think will bit cheaper

and buy RM 5 OSX(low yatt) and install hehehe.. or get genuine copy from Mac around 350-450

nowaday installation of OS very easy, no need technical knowledge much but be carefull with wide screen monitor. the configuration might be tricky. ask mr google!

have try with my intel duo 1.6 last time, its great

usually problem with graphic card, have to check was your card compatible with mac os or not or else have to compile by your own lah...(sure glamour nanti)

tp your computer must be very good lah, like my laptop its run like siput tp canggih.

anyway for slowest machine and want look your os like mac os, use flyakite, sure org ingat pakai mac os.

kira2 osx wannabe lah tu kot
