D6 - gone case

Post Number:#1  Postby tigershue » Sun Jan 16, 2011 12:21 am

Today, went to Waikiki to replace battery for D6.

Was made to sign some disclaimer form.

D6 went in and came out. I asked "everything ok?", Reply: Yes.

Came back and checked it......

- NO DIVE LOG FUNCTION
- NO DIVE HISTORY FUNCTION
- NO DIVE EAN FUNCTION

ALL GONE!!!!

I'm still in shock.

Refer back to Waikiki (the place you sent for battery replacement)..... they should logged the report and cooperate on the 'issues' happen after replacement!

Before you do so, the meaning of NO 'XXX' functions =
1) check and make sure the 'AIR / EAN' is set on 'ON' mode. If under 'OFF' mode, you cant use those functions'
2) NO 'XXX' functions = is it refer to all those data logged for diving are 'reset'? Dive History should kept data even battery replacement.

Dont panic..... find a solution, mate.  ;)

Anyway, I always wanted that. So I bot la.

After this I won't sell my D6, ever. If change DC, I'll keep it as a watch.
