Suunto D4 Problem

Suunto D4 Problem

Post Number:#1  Postby chintin » Mon Nov 22, 2010 1:17 am

Hi all bros & sis, sifu sifu.

During my recent dive, my Suunto D4 always reset the clock to 12:45pm after my dive, all dive records still there, only the time will reset to 12:45pm. Normally before it reset the time, the screen will become blank and show "Suunto D4 Version ***.**.**.**".

What actually happen to this dive comp ?? anyone encounter this before ? Advise pls.

I bought this comp in 2008.

Thanks.

Cheers,
chintin

bro....have you check the manual? i believe there is something wrong with the settings, check it out.....
If the error still persist, bring back to the shop where you purchase it, they are able to help you with this.....

May I know how you fix your Suunto D4 "reset" problem? I have the same problem with my Suunto D4 as well, always reset to its manufactured date but still maintain its log history. Same situation, the screen will become blank and show "Suunto D4 Version ***.**.**.**".
I also purchase my Suunto D4 2 years ago with 50++ logs.

Yes battery low, this is what i hope....But there is battery indicator that shows OK from this watch. Thus, wish that i can know the root cause from whom encounter this before and how he fix it, before i send my dive com back to factory for service. Frankly, i hate preparing such lengthy procedure for service as it costs me a lot on postal and i try to prevent it. I will replace battery by myself if confirmed battery low with this symptom.
