Send it back to the shop that you bought it from. They will be able to help you. If not, contact A&L Adventure..I think they are SUUNTO authorised distributor.

My D6 had a major problem, but don't think it is the same as yours. Mine happened during a dive at Sipadan - I was on my safety stop during the second dive of the day and it started beeping, then the depth gauge started telling me I was going deeper and deeper. By the time I got back onto the boat my computer said I was at 100+m! It continued to beep for 2 days (very annoying)

I took it back to the shop who couldn't do anything, so they sent it back to A&L Adventure. They were very helpful, but also couldn't do anything so sent it back to Finland to get the module replaced. In the end, I was without the computer for over 2 months.

When I got it back, all the data had gone (obviously as they changed the whole module). I had around 150 logged dives on there. What is really annoying is that the watch was only 6 months old. The warranty was for 2 years. However, as they repaired it, the warranty on replaced parts (the whole internal computer!) is only 3 months! I feel cheated..

I never got any kind of apology or anything from Suunto...

No offence, but D6 SUX BIG TIME....mine flooded spontaneously during a dive in mabul...barely clocking 30 dives...never even used it as a watch....it was strictly used only during dives and has never suffered any trauma ( drops....etc )....not even a scratch on the module....but during a dive in mabul, i noticed the right side censor '├žover' which is secured by 2 screws were missing....n' the whole comp had flooded!! seriously , D6's not cheap....n' with such reliability prob....goodness me...it really sux big time... just my experience!! my next comp has to be a uwatec!!

Hehe!! Sometimes best to keep things simple. My mosquito has been diving for 5 years, 300+ dives, vessel and tank inspection, in mud + sludge + oil......so far..only tukar batteries only. (I even wear it to the pubs...we tend to spill some pints so a waterproof watch is great!!  :D )

B-) D6!
anybody want to let go your broken D6? I need 1 screw at the back baseplate cover. I lost 1 screw so cannot use for dive anymore the rest of my dive comp is ok.  :laughing11: :laughing11: :laughing11:
