Scubapro Geo

Hi, :smileinbox: I was told this is a cool new BCD, lightweight and durable, and can pack very easily for diving trips. Wanna verify if this is true before I make the purchase and any good advice / best price is appreciated. :)

hi there,
yep the Geo is one of the new travel BCs from Scubapro. its made to compete with other travel bcds from other brands like the Zuma from aqualung. i've seen and held the Zuma and Geo and this is what i think.
the Zuma is lighter than the Geo and can be rolled together for storage. the Geo can be folded and has its own storage bag. the Geo's material feels a bit more solid than the Zuma hence maybe making it heavier. The Zuma has integrated weights while the Geo has none. Zuma is a back flotation bcd while the Geo is a normal jacket style bcd. the rest of the features are almost similar. owh, here, the Geo is more expensive than the Zuma  :). there's a few more travel BCDs out there. scubapro has a litehawk coming out. zeagle has one similar which is already out on sale.
but personally..i'll get a normal range bcd which is not too heavy. feels a lot more solid  :).

good luck in your shopping!
getting narc'ed is the highlight of my day.

Thanks for the detailed advice, Expressodupio! Appreciate it. :)

Any advice for a good normal range BCD that is not so heavy and not too expensive?

Mabel & Yon - whats your budget? and also you're looking for a travel BC or an all rounder? any preference in style? at the moment there are a lot of brands coming in, ready for next years open season so choices are aplenty. good for us! I also sudah gatal mau beli set baru!  :D

Yes! Another one won't hurt. Can have it as a spare for any unfortunate fellow divers.

Hi guys,

I'm planning to sell my Scubapro LiteHawk Size M/L since I'm using X-Tek now. Used less than 20 dives & I'm not a hardcore diver; more like a showboater-travel diver.  :icon_rr: I've posted the pictures/ad on Mudah.my but yet to be released. Besides, the item will be available from this Wednesday onwards. PM me if you're interested.

Thanks!
