the pricing is ok. reasonable.
But you can get it cheaper if you change the octopus to a cheaper version. How often do you want to use the octopus??
So why waste so expensive cost on the octo. Just buy the rugged version which is also cheap. Often used by the dive center.
Just it will look a little bit odd on your reg set.
Doubt you will get the akona beg include in the package though.
To tell you the truth all scuba shop put the original price higher but then they have that offer price when you ask them.

oh i forgot ...try going here and ask

dont know if the price still maintain RM1380
no harm call and ask right??

1. Well, there's no harm if you want to get urself equipped with all the good stuff of ur reg. I'm the kind of person who wants my buddy to have good breathing from my octo.. hehe There is no point of doing something and not being satisfied of it.

2. Do want u want as long as u can afford to do so (financially of course). I personally will try to funish my reg as tip top as possible (that includes my other equipments).. I have no experience using SR1 but i believe if u can suck good air out of it during a dive and it didnt fail underwater, it is a good reg.

3. Another point to mention. Many people buy just for the sake of buying and having. There are also those who bought after some coaxing from their instructors or a dive center (which was discussed earlier in several thread in this forum). Personally for me, best if u buy for a reason. Good price is one thing. Durability and the quality, easy access of service and parts, compatibality, weight, designs and etc are other factors to be considered.

Happy hunting!

bro,
just wanna add....
before u make a purchase of a new regulator, make sure you ask all of the questions up front about servicing costs, where to service, how often the regulators need new parts, and how much those parts cost. (1st stage, 2nd stage & octopus) hehe..... :D
any regulator is a good regulator if u can breath underwater.....
