This one, your 'mentor, ' Tuan KatakPink may be a suitable person to comment. He uses this regulator. Not only that, he breathes thru Oxycheq items.  8-)

Going through the Oxycheq Tec regulator spec, it looks good like any other high end regulator.

The breathing are good & is diver adjustable base on the working load.

a GOOD regulator? well, if u asked me, at the moment i will tell u that i expect it to supply me with smooth breathing gas at ambient pressure, no matter how deep it is and how cold it is. It will not freeze up on me when diving in cold temperature, nor stop working halfway when i'm still underwater. and another point would be the service kit is available widely. hence, i would prefer a balanced regulator. as for piston vs diaphragm, i'm still not sure what would each can give me. am reading on the net, and i get more confuse at the end....

i know i know.. u will say that i will not go for ice diving, who knows what will happen in the future? ... i dont want to buy something basic now.. and when i involve in something in the future, i will need to change it, rather i'll get something which is not too bad and not those top-off-the-line, like poseidon.

well, i'm just asking something like, do u prefer a CKD toyota, assembled in Malaysia or a fully imported toyota ? since, diving is a no joke sport when u r underwater, quality of the item is the most important factor.

What do you mean by "good" regulator??. Let me help u in defining it. First of all b4 you conclude your choice, just throw some simple questions:

1. What sort of diving do you want to do? Cold water? Deep Dive?
2. Are the service kits easy to get? If so, who can service it? What is the cost for
   servicing?
4. Does it meet your configuration?
5. Finally, what is your budget?

Do an evaluation & you'll get the right reg. Few good & reliable regs are here in the market BRO.....

About Oxycheq reg, no doubt it's a good reg (bukan mau bodek cuma marketing skit2 jer..hehehe) . Same reg as diverite has. One of the most reliable and easy in maintenance. Widely used by Tech Diver.

It comes with O2 cleaned & ready to go with any Nitrox Mix >50%. Price is quite competitive compare to other brands in the market.

More info....drop by to my shop. Phewwiiiiiiiittttttt!!!!!!!
