Hey guys,

I just sent my Scuba pro reg for servicing for the first time. Qouted an estimate of RM 100 plus for cleaning. Being said, i'm curious that when someone mentioned servicing regs, does it include changing of parts or just cleaning? It seems like price difference quite significant that's why I'm asking.

cheers

if 100+ ... normally it's the service fees... excluding parts :)

normally parts alone for 1st and 2nd stage will cost almost or more depending on brand and model :)

I service my regulator scubapro every year. Irrespective of how many dives ive logged. For cleaning services its RM100k++, but if u change parts like o-rings and all (comes together with their service kit) it would cost u RM200++. Pls remember, regulator is ur breathing apparatus, IT IS VERY IMPORTANT to maintain it in tip-top condition. U dont want it to fail while diving right? Cheers!
