Servicing Poseidon Cyklon 300

Post Number:#1  Postby meg » Wed Sep 03, 2008 5:01 pm

People,

Just bought Poseidon Cyklon 300 (old model all metal) from ebay. Very good and nice regulator even though it is already vintage. I like the viontage look and furthermore the reg can last very long. One guy have been using his cyklon for almost 30 years already. My problem is now where to send for service. anybody can suggest and how much....worse case i can send to singapore...but why want to waste if malaysian can do it right....

Meg, you can PM accordburuk. His company sells and services Poseidon in Malaysia. Otherwise give him a call at 013-3696299 and tell him SeaDemon asked you to call him.

Another option is Rec & Tec, Mr. Javier .... mine are done by them.

In Singapore U can ask Koni Investment Pte. Ltd. ....Mr. Khoo

Is an expensive brand to service but very reliable unit.

Thanks guys....

I've actually called Koni as well as Azizul.... just want to know other people as well....you know the more option the better.... anybody know the range for cost of the service?

I'm actually start learning how to service it myself as the service manual is very detailed. Already open-up the whole of 2nd stage and put it back just to do preliminary checks... i want to send to the authorised service centre for the first time before i use just to make sure....

If I am not mistaken.....  [-(

1st Stage: RM75 + service kit

2nd Stage: RM75 + service kit

RM75 is for the workmanship

Service kit price depends on the 1st & 2nd stage model, not cheap  :laughing11:
