Does Uwatec produce a first stage called Drager?

Post Number:#1  Postby Scorpenesub » Fri Aug 31, 2007 11:31 am

Hi everyone,

I just dug up a spare regulator from my storeroom which I forgot I had because it was given to me last year by my brother-in-law. However, despite Googling, I can't seem to find this model in the market. The cap brand says its a Drager Uwatec 1st stage with 2 HP and 4 LP, and it looks like your standard regulator. Presently, the second stage is a Uwatec Nemo, with a hose pressure rated to max 400psi.

Anyone with info on this? I am thinking of changing my regulator because the old one has only 1HP port and I need an extra HP port for a transmitter for Uwatec Smart Z.

Thanks guys.

Ah, finally got info on this rather old-generation regulator, thanks to a Singapore Navy dive instructor.  :)

Uwatec Drager is a piston-type first stage rated for cold water use but not for nitrox.  [-(

Now I can use this as my main reg.... :D :D :D Have transferred now transferred SPG and Octo to this reg....
