Fins Bag

Post Number:#1  Postby anwa » Sun Jan 09, 2011 9:00 pm

Hi,

Anybody got a fins bag for sale or can recommend one ?
I'm looking for one that will fit a R (Regular) size Mares Xstream fins (I think its 62cm long). It should have a sling strap to carry as a backpack. Pocket for mask/snorkel would be great.

Surprisingly shopping around in a few dive shops came up blank (scubadynamics, rainbow runner, rec-n-tec).

Thanks.

I just put mine in a fishing net.  [-(

Can ask you all Sifu for a question? Is the bag really necessary? Fins are not really that fragile equipments right? Just prevent them from sun deterioration would be sufficient?

Fragility is not the issue. The problem is how to carry around something weird size and big. Most luggage that can fit a fin would need to be check in. Hopefully with a fins bag can just carry luggage. That's my goal anyway.

Tip from Fin Merah - Use a badminton racket bag. Cheap and good. Can hand-carry...can sling behind your back
Nicely fits my Atomic "smoke on the water" splitfins + mask + snorkel +.....

Hand-carried on 2 trips AA with another 2 hand luggage...no hal bro...  tapi takut jugak laa....

Domo arigato Reen-san....haha...

Btw, i remember seeing a fin bag at Hobi Sports. It's a cressi and saekodive. Can't remember the price but i think can fit mares xtream and any other brands as well. Do check it out.
