Acronman Enterprise is pretty well-known among the diver in Singapore while Aqua Spot, I have tried to call numerous time but no one is picking up the phone. I doubt they are still in business.

Anyway, is there any custom wetsuit in Malaysia, I like to have a visit.

Nope, there isn't a custom wetsuit maker in Malaysia, as far as I know.

If anyone does track down Aqua Spot, Mr Chia, please post his contact details. I had a wetsuit made by him some years back, and it outlasted any commercial "off the peg" ones. His price was good and the workmanship excellent................. and no I am not a relative!
Cheers

Alteration of wetsuit helps the wetsuit to fit better on a diver as everybody has different body proportion.
This prevents water from flowing in and out of the wetsuit, thus maintaining the heat.

Some divers alter their wetsuit by adding zippers to the sleeve to make putting on and taking off easier.

It also helps streamlining the diver (think of the Olympic swimmers swimsuit)

You are right about the technology advance thingy, if you have a more or less standard body proportion, most of the wetsuit in the market should fit you right.

Hope helps! ;)

errrr, there is one more functional feature that you can add to your wetsuit...the pooper zipper! i saw this guy in Phuket with one and i asked him, he said it was for peeing in the water. you know you quietly slip behind the dm and the group and reach for the zipper and then a sigh of relief?

or pockets on your thighs to store magnifying glass (don't laugh, you will get old one day...), a can of coke? cookies? whatever-lah.

emblazon on your chest-your blood type, allergies (if you have), DAN id if you do high risk dives, contact no of your loved ones?
alamak, the tank goes at the back??
