prescription masks are readily available in Klang Valley. almost every brand has it. just that maybe not for every model of masks. i think the cheapest would go around RM 300+. but if you ask me..i'd go for something with quality, since you'll be using it for a long time  :)
oh ya, the lenses are interchangable so if your power increases or decreases a few Diopters don't worry.  ;)

depends on what brand you're looking for bro. different shops carry different brands. quality, well... it doesn't vary that much. but generally, the more expensive ones are better built.

i'm using powered mask too, been using it for the past 6 years. Bought it at sealantis in 1utama, problue mask - it's dark blue. it'll definitely be more expensive than conventional masks as the corrective lenses should be around RM100 per piece.  Problue because it's cheap and NOT ugly. I've seen some really ugly mares powered mask.. can pengsan from the fugliness...

since we are not doing needlework underwater, dont really need to change the lenses when our prescription changes, unless it's really drastic..

i much prefer using powered mask compared to contact lenses & mask - easier to clear mask, your eyes wont dry up etc etc..

Normally I'll just use contact lenses. But recently I need to do some exercise that need me to swim without mask.

I got mine from Scubatex. Aluminium frame. Price is less then RM300. Got a lot of colour choices too!

You may check it out here http://www.scubatexpro.com/

in water, view magnify 25X, so if ur power is -8.0, u should buy -5.5 to -7.0, as long as lower than 8 is OK.
