Tusa SF-5 vs Mares Superchannel

Post Number:#1  Postby seryoong » Wed Nov 05, 2008 2:41 pm

Would like to ask for opinion from the 'gurus' in this forum. Is there anyone that used before the Tusa SF-5 fins? I would like get some feedback if there is. Comparing to the Mares Superchannel, which one would be better?

Any feedbacks would be really appreciated. Thanks in advance.

How about I make this easy for you. I dont know about the Tusa fins, but I would recommend you grabbing the Super Channel. Of all the fins I have had (actually not that many), this is by far the best. It gives out the most power with the same kick, is highly manuverable and is light and flexible. On top of that, it doesnt cost a bomb. No regrets whatsoever so far with this one.

Hi!
I used Mares Avanti SuperChannel for my secondary fin, my primary Fin is Apollo Bio split fin. It is one of the latest fin from Mares after excel. Slightly wider compare to excel. lighter, faster and also cheaper. Have good rating from scubadiving.com.

I really like this fin actually.

I never try Tusa so no comment about it.

i used atomic split fin before. I had problem at aur as there's current (or could be wrong technique or no experience with current!!). During my recent trip to Tenggol, i use mares superchannel....it's light and am happy with it....there's time we have to go against the current and I managed to get through...plus the price is reasonable...managed to get 30% discount.
