Hi buddies:
I just would like to share and get some advises from y'all. I have this budding issues... MOLD in my mask.    :P  >:(  :-[ha ha ha.

I am sure y'all have seen these problems before. Anybody reckon some ways to get rid of these mold of mine?

Disassamble the mask & then clean it........ :) :)

I do mine normally at yr end

clean it with tooth paste...gosok dua tiga kali mesti putih bersih, done it b4.  ;D

Mine was like that. last week masa kat Tioman I dunno whose dive knife it was that I used to scrape hte mold out. Now it's almost super clean. ;D

Try to dismantle the frame, lens & silicon skirt ..... then clean it.

OR

Clean it using running pressure water, just use your thumb & index finger to pinch the water hose.

OR

Rainbow Runner having year end sales, so go & buy new mask.

tried to dismantle it. it just didn't crack open. didn't want to force it open. perhaps mold is meant to be there for little while... ;-)

opening giant clam is so much easier..  :-X

I had the same problem. after 4 months my diving gear in the plastic box and recently i was packing my gear for my upcoming trip, then i was  :-/ shocked when i saw the mold,  so i took baby shampoo and put in the basin and soak the mask for one whole nite.  Then next morning scrap it off with used tooth brush.  Best if you have kiddy tooth brush because its small and easy to penetrate.
