Nasik Padang memang enak pak! (Nasik Padang is truly delicious). They will normally lay down most of the dishes and charge u only what u have touch. So, select ur dishes wisely.. Hehe

Yeah.. That was a first time SSS dive guide (zaki or tri) saw the electric ray. Do remember to bring testpen with you to check the ray. Haha.

Oh yea! They will even charge if u take a bit. Also note that Nasi Padang sold in KL is damn expensive. I paid about RM40 over for something that looks and taste like Nasi Campur in KL. Real rip off!

Good news is that the Nasi Padang in Bandar Aceh is authentic and I would consider cheap compared to KL!

I also eat nasi padang @ pulau weh. But dont remeber the restaurant name. We paid around rm10 per person. Nasi Padang @ Sari Ratu in Subang is quite good and autentic indonesian nasi padang. But can be very expensive. Haha.

Yea Zaff, the Malaysian's version is always so much more expensive. Actually, the food in P.Weh is not super cheap. It is about the price I have to pay in a hawker centre in KL

Mentioning nasi Padang, i remember a trip to Padang and Bukit Tinggi, Indonesia (non diving trip). Whole bunch of us 5 pax hungry people are enjoying lunch at a restaurant in Bukit Tinggi. Plenty of dishes served and wallop and all with fruit juices. All that goes for (RM45 ++).. hehe.. Good meal, unbelievable price.

Narco dive Padang! The corals aint that fantastic compares to ours but the marine lifes are superb.
The boat journey to the dive sites are pretty exhausting (like 1 hour journey) but once you enter the water,
it'll be great. Just dont forget to bring urself a windbreaker on the boat. 1 hour on a small boat fit for 8 people
with the wind blowing at you non-stop , u can get cold. That is if u are not wearing any wetsuit.

Awesome marine life are dogtooth tuna, giant trevallies, dolphins, whales also sighted occasionally.
Got  this one soft coral site. This is a heaven for macro lovers. The name Vicer Reef. Depth 25m flat on the sea bed.
Other than that wall diving. Currents, my diving there no current at all.
Viz 6/8 dives 20m, The other 2 were shallow wreck and night dive.

The DC operated by a guy name Bob. He knows great food! Every where in padang is great food.

Sorry Knightdiver steal ur thread for this info since everyone is talking about padang.

Good one Maxln. The earthquake alert should work better than my stupid Anti Mosquitoes app. Instead of scaring the mosquitoes, it was attracting all of them to me in P.Weh. don't waste your time downloading it :$
