Hey guys,

Was at MIDE 2011, saw some attractive offers to dive in Brunei.. quite cheap..

Just want to ask around, anyone dived in brunei before? How is the dive sites?

Here's the website of the dive resort i talked to, at Brunei Tourism's booth.
http://www.oceanic-quest.com/

I paid deposit for dive in brunei, not much, RM100 only (group of 4).. but want to have some feedback

Hi vash_h

Diving generally good, but there are times it's bad  still enjoyable.  If you like wreck diving this is the place. Besides wrecks, a few areas with soft corals. Expect swells, currents and waves when you go to wreck sites. It's the rare occasions when these elements are absent. If you are like me who is motion sensitive, bring along your tablets.

Drop me a line if you are planning to come over here to dive. I will check my schedule whether I could join you guys.

BTW, how much did Steven Ong/Eddie offered you the dive package?

I believe it's bad WB, the last pic with the SPG + compass is a truer picture of the water condition around Brunei.
