manado with family ~ HELP

Post Number:#1  Postby tupai » Fri Oct 30, 2009 11:51 pm

Guys, This will be my first trip to Manado...a 5d4nites stay. Early december 09.

I want to dive there and will hopefully get my 12yr old daughter to join for her first experience...maybe my wife too.

But I cannot be diving every day and leave my family at the hotel..

Can any1 recommend a decent hotel with pool and also a dive centre? And what else can i do other than dive?

Appreciate any advice.

Many thanks..

If you want to bring family and don't mind splurging ($$), a nice hotel is Tasik Ria. They have a nice swimming pool and good buffet spread. There is an inhouse dive centre:Tasik Divers, with very good DMs, and awesome dive boats, excellent house reefs too.

Agree with Mabel, Tasik Ria is a good one. you may also look for Sedona, NDC, Kima Bajo or Cocotinos
