Greetings MUWians..

I am planning a diving trip for 4d3n on 17-20/05/2012 around Kota Kinabalu or nearby island (perhaps mantanani @ pulau tiga & etc). I'll be bringing along my wife and few of my diver friends, the group will consists around 5-6 pax including me  :)

Totally appreciate if guys can give some good advise or recommendation for a place to stay (either stay in island @ KK) and which Dive operators is available and provide good services...  :) if possible budget one la  :D

Thanks for taking time reading and comment this post...  :blob9:

is it suppose to be 2012? if it is, try Alan Mah (012-8339901) he's the owner of Sabah Divers. He has a class set up that I have not seen a dive operator has. Ask him to show you his air-filling station.

i think going with Sabah Divers shud be good, i enjoyed diving with them. if you're talking about TARP - Sepanggar, then it's pretty standard, Sapi has many dive sites. Havent done Mantanani or Dinawan so check it out.  check out http://youtu.be/fj4hZeGLLpw

Diving in KK is easy as ABC, just walk in to any dive shops, do a little bit of survey, once you comfortable with any dive shop, just book directly or one day before your dive trip. Yes, used to dive with Sabah Divers

Cheers

Plenty of diving accessible from Kota Kinabalu. If you are looking to do Mantanani, I suggest staying the night instead of hacking couple of hours drive / transfer in a day.

If you're looking for easy diving, the local Tunku Abdul Rahman Marine Park is just some 20 minutes from the city center. If you like more information on diving from TARP, Pulau Tiga, Mayne's Rock, drop me a pm or email me at edrie@borneodream.com

Cheers! :)
