How I Got My Diving Groove Back - Tenggol 8/9/2012-9/9/2012

After obtaining my Rescue Diver's certification, I fell into a diving slump. My UW photos during my Rescue dives didn't really impressed me. My Bargibanti Pygmy seahorse photo was a joke. I didn't dive for 2 months and went to Tioman but it didn't do anything good. The company was great but something wasn't right.  At Tioman, I did not produce any satisfactory results.

Conclusion : Diving slump

Last weekend, I decided to go back to Tenggol knowing that the viz could not be as great as the months of March, April and May. Same setup, weekend trip. Had my usual nasi dagang at the market.  Met up with Izuan and the usual divers and it's somewhat nice to see familiar faces.

However, cloudy skies, potential bad viz, lack of sleep,  crappy Panasonic Lumix DMC FT-1 camera..... I was not feeling that confident.

So I decided to take things easy. Back to basics. I took my time, I didn't get frustrated, I penetrated several caves and even had a dive buddy whom I constantly looked out for. I wasn't the selfish diver who surfaced with 3 bars left. This time, I surfaced with 50 bars. An achievement for me. After 4 relaxing dives , here are some of the pictures I took :
