I love the no.1 and no.5 picture... very nice.

I tried to snap the yellow boxfish before but  it was difficult to capture because its small and shy.

How did you make the background black/dark..? or you take the picture during night dive..?

Mind to share your camera setup.. ? :)

My gear : Nikon D7000 +  Nikkor 105mm vr + Inon Z240's

Basically you have to use high shutter speed and small aperture to get black background plus shoot towards open water

Yes, this boxfish was very shy and it took me some time get good shot of it. Just spend sometime swimming with the fish and make them accustomed with your presence, then it will be easier to get the shot. :azn:

Just came back from Perhentian on 21st August..wonder if this is the same yellow box fish..saw this little chappy in T3 and spent a good 15 mins trying to take his pic..very cute...

i'm assumming..demang50 camsetting : equa or smaller than F11, ISO 100-200 , shutter 1/200~1/320 + good positioning of the strobe + patience.
these are the setting that i normally see in magazines(jul/Aug issue) and online pixs :p
