Photos from Sharm El Sheikh and Mabul Sipadan

Hi guys and gals,

Been awhile since I last posted. Have been busy with work and also have not had much chance to dive. However I've just recently got back from a dive trip to Egypt, Sharm El Sheikh for a week. Did 12 dives.

It was a good trip. Visibility was good, on average 20-25m and water temp about 22-23C.

Local dive sites were ok, nothing special but Ras Mohammed marine park is awesome and Tiran is loaded with corals :). Totally enjoyed those 2 sites. Lucky that I got a chance to do Ras Mohammed twice in that week :).

I took some pics. My camera setup is a Canon SX230HS in WP-DC42 underwater housing. Added some additional lighting using the Xtar D06 800 lumen torch and Intova 220 lumen Wide Angled torch. It's not great but all I could afford for the time being :p.

Also in December I did a 6 day trip to Sipadan and Mabul. On this trip I had a Canon G11 with WP-DC43 housing. No extra lighting. Please do give me feedback on the pics :). Enjoy! :)

Thanks all :)

Decimal86 i work in london. So got a week off to go diving there :)

Dirt-Diver setting was on AV and custom white balanced. assigned this to the shortcut button so i can adjust white balance quickly at different depths. All there is to it is pointing at a white background and a press of a button and voila :). Stuck the apperture on lowest most of the time as well.

Zahar JulietBravo, try to get as many dives done as Ras Mohammed and Tiran. Tiran is great for corals and Ras Mohammed has a lot of marine life. All the sites are off drop offs so keep an eye into the blue. 4 days before i arrived they found a huge whale shark at jack fish alley in ras mohammed. You know who you're diving with?
