45lb enough for double Al 80.. I have 3 wing at the moment, Halycon Explorer 55( Double Steel 104), Diverite Classic 59lb (Double LP 98)  and OMS 45lb( Double AL80)

The reason Why I choose OMS 45 is redundacy and trim for my rig, I don't use to much lift especially when I'm diving with drysuit.

If u don't mind me asking, why so many twinset combination? (esp when u have a rebreather). I suspect twin steel for drysuit and twin S80 for wetsuit. Or is it maybe for kawan2 to pinjam  :D

BTW, what do you mean by AL12? S80s are slightly less than 11 ltrs

According to Luxfer, I think S80 is 11.1liter. S80N is 10.3 liter.
I am not sure if I have seen S80N before.

Depends on the dives. Here is Cold water diving, Drysuit required if you stay longer and slightly deeper. So Steel tank help me for weight and air sources.. Normally I fill my Steel tank up to 3500 psi. which is 250 Bar.

Sure if you to try out carry Steel tank, My pleasure! As long your ready to lift 45kg behind your back..

I think Sheik already gave the answer about the AL12 ltr vs 80cf tank

Hey gangs !
I was diving yesterday( new Larry Green 45lb wing), Sametimes I organize project aware. Weather really suck in the morning and turn out well during noon. Finalize the trim, nicely trim with tall tank especially double AL12 and Definately great with double AL 12 ltr tank.

Look big fat guy, when wearing thicker undergarment C400 thinsulate.

Zaha bro,

Any (hopefully) rave reviews about ur new OMS wing?

Have been told that the latter distributes the air better UW than the OMS, hence u dont have to do the "jiggy" ala Will Smith underwater to evenly distribute the air in the cell.

What is your opinion of the advantages/disadvantages of having a U-shape wing (currently in ur possession) compared to the "doughnut" design?

mucho thanks

Halcyon Evolve ( donut wing). I try dive one dive with that wing before.. I just don't like how the wing sit around my ass. !!! The reason why i choose OMS(Larry Green) because the wing sit nicely with taller tank. that it's, My second option is Halcyon 40lb explorer wing.

I don't have any jiggy during my 1 hour dive last saturday ! During the dive I don't have any problem during manuver and backward. I haven't try out using 2 deco stage with this wing yet. maybe after Raya kot.. I'll find out more about this wing when I will diving at Oriskany in Pensacola end of October this year.
