Pre-Ramadhan Dives 2012 videos

Post Number:#1  Postby meme.may.fire » Mon Aug 27, 2012 9:42 pm

Greetings and Salam to all of you.
First of all Selamat Hari Raya to all of MUW-ians.

second of all, Just drop by to share two vids taken before fasting season this year.
This is taken at Kapas Island with a d7000 and 60mm housed in ikelite during the month of July.
I managed to get comfortable now with this gigantic and heavy setup now that i bagged some dives with it.
Wish i can grow my setup to a 105mm macro lens or maybe a wide angle lens would be nice too.
Maybe if i use my 'duit raya' then i can manage to get 'em.
Then again, i might end up eating maggi for the rest of the year

Hope all of you enjoyed it.
Accept this humble gift as a replacement for 'duit raya'

TQ  :afro:

Wow great images and vivid colors. U use any red filters or not?
I prefer duit raya better. Thanx for sharing.
You know right the vid are a bit shaky. The gears are big and heavy i'm sure.
The vids definitely beautiful.

Thanx. No red filter whatsoever.
Yup, the vids are a bit shaky. Given the fact that a dedicated underwater tripod is expensive,
i have to improvise. I already bought a gorillapod but yet to use it underwater.
Maybe dis weekend i'll try it.
Youtube have this nifty feature where one can apply a shake reduction after uploading it.
I try it before but the video came out distorted.
So yeah, i am trying my best to reduce the shake.
Still learning. Thanx for the feedback  ;)
