Wreck & Reef Weekend (17th - 19th April)

Post Number:#1  Postby Borneo Dream » Tue Mar 02, 2010 2:50 pm

We are the only Dive Operator in KK to run regular diving trips to the WW2 Usukan Bay Wrecks and the stunning Mayne Rock. We have a 'wreck & reef' diving weekend in April with the following diving itinerary:

    * 17th April = Mayne Rock (minimum confident PADI OW or equivalent)
    * 18th April = Usukan WW2 Wrecks (minimum PADI AOW or equivalent)
    * 19th April = Mayne Rock

You'll be the only divers in the water diving a WW2 large wreck (150m) full of fish life (Barracuda, Bat Fish, giant Groupers, Fusiliers, Yellow Snapper and lots more), Mayne Rock is home to two series of large boulders (covered in soft coral, gorgonian fans) and surrounded by pristine coral reef.

To help MuW members experience some great diving from KK we are offering our long distance trips to you for this weekend of diving for RM325 per Diver (normally RM425). We need a minimum group of 4 MuW Divers for this trip to offer this discounted price. So only a bit more from diving in TARP for a lot better diving offshore from KK.

Contact the Borneo Dream team if you're tempted  ;)

Hi Faizal G,

No problem. As a PADI Open Water Diver you can join us for just the Mayne Rock diving trip.

It would be good if you had experience of diving in currents / drift diving as we often have mild - medium currents at Mayne Rock.

The reefs there are beautiful and diving round the large boulders is always really interesting. So it would be a really nice change for you than diving in TARP.

Just message me or contact Borneo Dream if you fancy joining us to get wet at Mayne Rock  :)

Thanks,

BD

We still have a few places left on our Mayne Rock and wreck diving trips for later this month (17th - 19th April).

If you're in KK on these dates and fancy somewhere different to TARP, let me know. The diving is wonderful  ;)
