Was wondering, since Borneo Divers not operating there, who is operating to the wrecks?

Love the Blue Water Wreck

There is only 1 DC operating there.. Borneo Star Dive. Run by a local commercial diver in the labuan sea sports complex. They are NAUI affliated.
Borneo divers are doing commercial diving only now.

Had dove there way back in 2001/2 with borneo divers amd the Navy but since then no more.  Had really missed diving the wrecks there.  The worst one was the supposed to be the B17 bomber wreck.  Can only found the landing gear and long scrap fuselage.  With visibility only 0.1m, mmmm nothing can been seen clearly.

I've only dived the australian, american, bluewater and cement wrecks. The rest reef dives around the island. Do you have the coordinates of the rest of the wrecks around. Plan to visit again. Last few round only dove on air. So a lot of limitation even with deco.
I think labuan waters are ok. I've been in worse viz. 0.2m barely can see anything ;p

Sorry bro, my mistake of not noting all the wreck positions... But I wanted to record all the wrecks in Malaysia if its possible. The coordinates, history of the wrecks and their conditions.  Also, if its diveable or not for recreqational.

No prob,
I've always had a passion for wrecks.... But i've only fully explored 1 wreck.. the union star aka suger wreck. Back when there was still diesel residue in the water  :crybaby2:
I has grown into a very sparking centre of life. I always think you can never go wrong with wrecks. Cause even if there is no fish there is the ship...lol
Gonna do my trimix next april. Hope to explore the PoW and repulse somewhere later next year.

back to the wrecks in labuan... i think they are not being dived enough!
i think more brunei ppl dive there than malaysian! and they are i bet you.. claim that it's in their waters.
the cement wreck is by far the the most stonefish and scorpionfish i've found in a single dive on a wreck...
i think if the viz there is good it will be better than the blue water wreck.
The DC's there is in a sad state. Only 1 DC operational. Really there isn't enough divers going there.  [-(

I do agree on you bro.  It had been a long time since I dove there.  Do they have nitrox there?  I think we should promote ore Malaysian to do wreck diving in Labuan, in a way it will encourage local tourism and also help the dive industry there.

Common guys, put in your trip planner and make Labuan one of your dive destination.

From Divers to Divers!!

Unfortunately no nitrox there... but i've been bitching so much about it the last trip that they assured me that it will materialise in the near future.
another plus points is booze is super cheap there..lol
