hi all, would like to share some experience.

has anyone dive at this site?

location : around 5 nautical miles from pulau kapas.
depth : 44 m (bottom depth)

its a japanese wreck. found some japanese writing traces on the wreck. underwater current is mild, vis is good for this kinda depth. rich with marine life, a few large giant grouper. some feather star, some soft coral found on the ship hull. wreck is on normal position a bit tilt to the right. not much i can remember coz i wasnt feeling well at that time, been so clever by decending too fast. lucky me i was able to keep my conscience.

hehehehe.. supposely.. but as i mentioned, 44m is the bottom depth. seafloor depth. i dont spend much time cruising at seafloor depth. the hull is about 7 meters in height (if im not mistaken). it was a short underwater trip, we cruised from the stern to the front part and then return. bottom time was only 10 mins. plus descend and ascend alltogether it was about 25 mins dive. i cant remember much. wa tatak itu dive comp. just pakai gshock. some more wa punye kepale ala pining pining. thanks to "lets go to the bottom fast" race. hehehe... that's the deepest depth i've ever been. even when i was doin my advance pun baru 33 meters, masa tu pun mamai, first time deep dive, sampai kena sengat dgn jellyfish. hehehe.

Just curious coz when took my course I just did 30M for my deep dive...tu pun kepala rasa lentok jer...

LOA of the wreck? im so sorry, i cant remember that. hehehe. but it was huge. can AOW dive there? hmm sure, but then u need to stay at 30 meters depth je la... muahahahaha... its up to your DM actually, if he/she knows your capability and u're experienced enough in deep diving, then he/she might take u deeper, but then, dont take any risk by any chance if you are still unsure. as i said earlier, diving is an extreme sport.

hmm... remember the martini's law? 1 atm equal to the buzz u get from taking 1 glass of matini. ( correct me if im wrong please, takur tersilap). 30 meters is deep enough for a new diver, i got dizziness too when i first did my deep dive, and i was stung by jellyfish ( i know, i mentioned bout this 3 times already, but i love to annoy people.) muahahaha.

when i did that wreck dive, i was almost lost my conscience. but then i was lucky enuf that i can still control myself. i gave my buddy the "there's something wrong" hand signal. and i told him to wait for a while, only after a minute or two i was then able to continue my dive, or else, i have to ascend. but being able to ascend is way way way better than collapse underwater at that depth, at that depth, it might risk your life to collapse underwater. safety always come first.

Tks Bro Pacai for info yang panjang lagi lebar. Ni mcm kene cari baik punya DM la if I want to dive there. Maklum la diving baru setahun jagung....Pas OW terus angkat AOW. Main belasah jer. Anyway appreciate your explanation & info bout the wreck.

katakpink, nak carik DM, u can use my friend. he's an isntructor in redang, even that time when hans isaac was shooting for this wreck pun, he was the responsible person to take them there. his contact number is in this website.

bulan berapa tu aku rasa dalam bulan 4 atau 5 baru air tenang. sebab by the end of tengkujuh, air still unpredictable. takpe.. nanti aku tanya member aku tu dulu, bila dia rasa seswai untuk pegi. nanti aku update kat korang.

ni ada gambor sket masa aku p dulu... aku sampai la floor masa tu clock 38.7 meter. dah sampai pasir..duk 12 minit kena buat safety stop sampai 25 minit. macam nak tido dalam air.

nasib twin tank, tapi jahil sal tech dive... penuh nitro dalam badan. ;D

ni aku tak tau apa la, tapi nampak cam pully tarik sauh

baru-baru ni depa p ada curent kuat kat bawah, atas tarak. time i went there above current, hypeventilate jugak la nak sampai bawah. anyway its a fun dive kat situ. best. kalau ramai nak p boleh arrange ngan depa untuk taruk satu buoy line.

so senang la nak decent accent.
