Try not to tolerate on safety.  Yes, u may go on air for 60 - 70m but you are risking yourself.  Pay for your safety, dude.

This is what i read long time b4 in the net...from the article of Worlds's Deepest Rebreather diver that died while recovering a body, Dave Shaw.

"Today extreme divers are far exceeding any reasonable physiology capabilities," says American Tom Mount, a pioneer in technical diving and the owner of the Miami Shores, Florida–headquartered International Association of Nitrox and Technical Divers (IANTD). "Equipment can go to those depths, but your body might not be able to take it.

On the way back up, at 196 feet, Deon appeared to be fine, exchanging hand signals with his buddy. The group continued ascending. At 164 feet they suddenly noticed a light below them. A quick, confused diver count came up one short. No one knows for sure what killed Deon. The best guess is deep-water blackout from carbon dioxide buildup

Yup.. David Shaw well know as a famous cave diver. Who died at South Africa cave called Bushman's hole. I read the report  a years ago.. really sad story.

1.My boat, Hai Tec, the Biggest and nicest boat in all Tioman I might add.
2.Depart from Tioman (need to be here no later then evening of the 19th)
3.Max is 8 divers counting me (so 7 more)

I want to go but can only confirm last minute...is tough working in the office.

I watched the video, and the last moment b4 he died...he was working hard at 300m depth..passed out..really sad..

Yeah...Anyway do you think that he knows that he's dying? he looked like he is so blur and just passed out just like that....

Good lord!!! He died! End of story! We all die, it's the only way out of here by the way. So live it up while you can.

Guys, to be able to go on this trip, you should already be experienced enough or have the qualifications to decide on the gases to be used for such dives.

Let the individual diver make his/her own choice can?

If already qualified and/or experienced enough, he/she can use air to 100m for all I care...........

I do agree on the experience and qualifications also on the individual choices but I won't agree nor letting an individuals going down to a depth using air which could jepordise and risking the team. When u do tech diving, always think of safety and your team. 

I had done a 74metres dive using air but how stupid am I at that time and I'm lucky nothing happened to me.  As what we know, on the pO2 thing, anything more than 1.6 are considered unstable.  It is adviseable not to exceed that and not only that, others too (OTUs etc...) Dive safely, guys.

Yup.. remind me to do another dive there using 3/2mm wetsuit...hehehe (as I still remember at the Table Rock Lake, Mo).

I've extra drysuit if you want to use..
