Since i will be going for wrecks next year May, since those wrecks are mostly deep dives, will b good to use nitrox to prolong the bottom time.

i was wondering, if we can do Nitrox course on the mainland? instead of doing it on the island, to maximize my dives.

anyone know any dive centres in KL that has the course which do not require to go to the sea? go PD also i dont mind.. jst wanna learn nitrox..

Hi Vash_h,

PADI Nitrox course do not require diving. And yes there is a lot of dive centres and freelance instructors doing the course in KL.

It's just a +-4 hours classroom session where nitrox diving knowledge, nitrox table calculation and O2 analyzing is being taught.

*Preview: With higher % of O2, max depths of dive will be shallower.

my wife and i just took...RM9XX....in KL. but if you were like me wanting to use Nitrox to extend your diving time underwater, ie if on air you can only do 47 mins, on Nitrox i did not notice any difference.

fatigue wise also no difference, my wife likes it cuz she says she does not feel as fatigued...

just view video in a classroom, got books and do a written exam. that's all.

I just did mine for RM3XX yours is cheaper by almost one dive. We should see prices going down
