Aqualung Titan 2nd Stage free flow
« on: December 05, 2011, 10:19:04 AM »

Hi guys,

Can i check if anyone has a problem with their regs having air leaking out from the 2nd stage. Normally the air will release when we inhale, but my 2nd stage has air coming out on its own, and when i flip the 2nd stage upwards, the air just releases automatically and doesnt stop (is this what people always mean by free flow?).

Is there anyway to repair this? Or must i purchase a new 2nd stage?

Thanks !

Yes this is free flow.
how long have you been using the reg? by any chance the reg been hit by something hard or touch the sand?
Just send it to check first. i dont think you need to buy a new one.

It's just the settings at the second stage. Can be readjusted.

The local Aqualung service centre is  Planet Scuba in Bangsar. Above Pelita Restaurant.
