They have to keep sending their application & calling-up companies.....make it a habit to call companies once a week.  ;)

The 1st 2 job are the tough one to get, keep trying & keep calling...is hard for company to trust new diver.

Plenty of work around, keep calling & dont just limit yourself with Malaysia company only.

Try Singapore & Middle-east.

Oh..you will be competing with foreigner & most of all, cheap labour from INDIA!!!!!  :laughing11:

Good luck.

i din call up few companies in malaysia but keep getting "we are trying to push you". any other tips and advise from our senior CD?

as for singapore, most of the company said they are not looking for divers at the moment, however, will receive my resume as a reference. I once visited a company at labuan and the director told me: "they will just leave your resume there"

i haven't tried north america as i think they can easily get divers there.. as middle east i applied few before but getting a reply "we need diver with cswip 3.1u"

starting is always hard. may god bless
