Course    : Quantum Hard SuitTM 1200
Venue     : The Underwater Centre of Fremantle (TUCF)
Date        : 20 April till 22 May 2009
Duration : 5 weeks


Atmospheric Diving System (ADS) Quantum Hard SuitTM mainly use by military mainly Navy for Sub Rescue mission, is a deep sea machine can go down to 2000 ft without going into decompression stop. Is a combine technology from ROV and diver. A pilot is needed to operate inside the suit while diving. The pressure relief valve on the suit is set to vent off at over 0.5 PSI ambient external pressure, all the time, the pilot is living in 1ATA while working at great depth. The pilot can bound up n down as fast as he/she want.

This is the second course conduct at TUCF joining hand with ocean Work's Instructor and Technician, Me and Wilfred manage to squash ourself in for the second intake. Here are some photo taken while we having our dive training at TUCF. We still got 1 week to go for our dive training and the final exam is set on Thursday. Beside the dive training, we also have to attend classroom for technical, engineering and electrical stuffs

Wonder how is it like to be diving and completely dry at the end of the job...wouldnt that be nice..:)

Is not totally dry, inside the suit will get moisture coz of the water temp, mainly the arm and the place we sit on.

Anyway, looking forward to go for Hard suit's Job in future n check out how it look like down under 300m.

aawww.. i like the suit...coolzz.. :icon_rr:  how much it cost eh?i think come to million of ringgit...
anyway that suit permit u to dive for how long of time?looks like can dive for a long time...is it hard to wear it?
