Just wondering how much is OWS paying you?? THe daily rate I mean. I am new..so just want to get some feel how much to ask for next time. Care to share?

To Spazm. They paying us 300usd 20extra for ndt, but it will be easier for u to join us if u already have ur own Petronas smartcard.U know lah Petronas. Gdluck

Petronas smartcard?? How do I get about getting one bro?? I have been asking around and they say company must sponsor..

Anyway..that is a good rate for you lah... Most company offer me 150 only...that also never confirm the place lah.. Still looking for job..

to spazm, u may apply ur own petronas card at Petronas UDA JB, I guess u have to burn around 2k MYR.
Yes , most of the time companies will sponsor the personnels whose going to work at Petronas Installations.
But for the time being, OSS having problems wt the cards applications & furthermore they short of divers especially for NDTs & air super. Now we're back onboard the same vessel, just did our hookup this mornin & will be leaving stdby at the anchorage for couple of days before offsailing to Miri.I guess u just give a shot by calling Mornie or Farizal at OSS(previously OSW) Charles Mok le the same towkey ma. K gd luck to u.

and to lovely miss fizah,
I think u're jealous of me can jalan2 wt paid rite??!!

I called farizal boss.. Am new too.. Haven't done diving before but was doing sat support on the last job..

Working with petronas is a bit problem coz i dun have smart card.. Not sure will company sponsor smart card for a baby diver for me.. I have once offered by OSW by moni but petronas said i'm new.. Can't take me in the project.. Hope i'm able to diving soon..

Bugisdiver...don't worry. 2009 got lots of hook-up jobs and inspection and replacement of heritage pipes. There will be several deployments of TADR as well through 2010.
