Underwater photographer Jim Watt passes away
« on: July 24, 2007, 11:38:11 PM »

I used to follow his detailed way of doing up and under (both surface and below) image, but until now couldn't make it perfect.

RIP
----------------

Underwater photographer Jim Watt has passed away after a heroic battle with lung cancer. Jim was loved by many of us and his loss will be felt throughout the industry. Jim was returned to the ocean during a small ceremony of close friends and family this week. He was one of the early featured photographers in the DPG galleries. Jim, you will be missed. Thank you for your contributions to the world.

Okay so another great underwater photohragher is gone...BUT so what ? my point is do you know the cause of his death....

quote
'For those who didn’t know about his condition, he has been battling with lung cancer for about a year.  He passed away peacefully at around 9:00 am in the morning of July 19th, 2007, surrounded by his family and friends.'

unquote

LUNG CANCER !!...now i know there's loads of MUW divers that are smokers ( and promoter of ciggies too..hehehe) give a thought to this you might not get it now but after 20years of smoking, It did caught up with me.....I had a real life scare with a growth after 20 years of smoking and had a painfull lesson on it....to all MUW divers i don't want to sound like an old pakcik but its true....u will only find it out too late later in life and live to regret....

STOP smoking! start living! :)

just a thought!
