How to Spot a Diver, Seasoned Diver & a Newbie Diver

You can spot divers by:
* Funny Tan Lines
* Big Watch
* Says "Huh" alot
* Scars from trigger fish bites
* Expertise on anti-histamines (burrp!) 
 
You can spot old time divers by:
* Funny Tan Lines
* Big Expensive Watch
* Old Jeep with bad shocks
* Log Book has volume number on cover
* Deaf in at least one ear
* Has multiple scars.
* Has cylinders older than you are
* Talks about making their first wet suit
* Dive gear is faded
* Limps from Dysbaric Osteonecrosis
 
You can spot newbie divers by:
* Sunburned
* Timex Watch
* Nice car
* Fills in all the blanks in their logbook
* No diving related scars
* Says "Wow, did you see that" alot
* Equipment looks nice
* Perfect hearing

I have snorkel attached on my mask... yup i'm proud newbie  :angel8:   only have 6 dives include 4 dives in OWC.. ahaha


mmm... trigger fish bite ? i think they look nice...


sunburn...? i dont really have a sunburn that sore my skin... but im realized that im bit darker now...
I dont wear watch... should I buy now... but I really want to buy camera with underwater casing...
My car ugly.
6 logged dives so far...  more to come...
Says "Wow, did you see that" alot  <-- yup its me... lol.
Equipment looks nice - I dont own any dive equipment so far...
Hearing so far good...

has snorkel on his mask AND keep kicking with their legs and hands moving altogether all the time.. :D
the way that works for me is watch and learn from other experienced diver..so they won't really realize that you're actually a newbie.. B-)

- selalu kantoi baru balik dive ngan opismate sebab sunburn..
- Timex watch...belum beli any watch yet..
- Nice car..keta kecik jek pun..
- fill in all the blanks in the log book - hehhee..mmg selalu excited nk isi log book right after dives...bila  DM cop pun dah bangga
- No diving related scars - dah ada scar sbb terjatuh time kat tioman..shore dive..
- Says "Wow, did you see that" alot  - hahaha...nampak penyu pun jakun!!..
-  Equipment looks nice  - baru ada fin and mask
- Perfect hearing - elloo!!elllooo!!!..hurmm..so far so good!!..:D

Haha...aku pun newbie jugak 4OWD + 1 leisure dive...semua betoi...dive gear pun baru, snorkel lekat kat mask pun berkilat lagi....ikan pun tak kenal nama lagi...semuanya cantek.... buoyancy sekejap atas sekejap bawah jenuh nak kontrol nafas/lung...sikit saja ubah sakit telinga nak equalise....dalam 20m kira dah hebat....itulah experience orang baru...tak sabar nak dive lagi.....  :hello:

frankly speaking ,i dont know what is the point of this topic. you see ,you are certified to the type of diving corresponding to your training. the topic starter  might as well, ask  were you trained by a  truly qualified  or a half past sick instructor ?

Just for your info, I have seen some instructors who are 'half past six'.!and.. DM that lead lead you to 'holland'!


My philosophy is dont blame the student instead blame the teacher .

Since everyone is speaking about sunburn and tan, there this one local product by the name TABLOQ produce by yours truly the MUW mascot himself Mr Seasir. It seems that this product when applied on the face and any expose surface of the skin, helps to reduce the feeling of tightness due to the sunburn and minimise the tan itself.
The only bad side about it, you'll be like the bride or the groom of the frankenstein before you wash it off.

yup at salang jetty. i just love the pic, its good that they build this near salang jetty, can be good spot for photoshoot, hahaha

my dm said, someone did their wedding photoshoot there, i forgot the name :D . i think its one of the local dm/instructor
i wish i can get some of my wedding photoshoot there too :D
