thanks.

I am contemplating now for a dive watch... need some opinions. these are the few things/combinations i need:

1) dive watch
2) compass (i would think it is useful during a dive)

so i can either jump straight to the Suunto D6 which might cost alot for a starter or i can opt for a Suunto Zoop + a standalone dive compass.

opinions? budget wise approx RM2k

Decided to go on the seperate route, bought a seperate compass with hose mount and now thinking of a Suunto DC and a set of Regs and Oct since it is one of the most important equipment (and personal one too :)).

Thanks Finding Grouper & Narco..

I have to say, investing in a reasonable DC (Suunto Zoop) is one good investment for an OW diver.
