Hi all,

I'm no pro in diving. Got to dive the first time during February this year and didn't have any chance of going anywhere else after that!!.

Next plan to Maldives..thanks to Zimm's interesting posts..

Bobo,

I think pictures of sharks or rays will definitely tempt me more!!.
I have no pictures underwater yet... Planning to take pictures on my next trip!

Any suggestions on where's the best place to dive in July?

Anywhere underwater....

In Peninsular Malaysia - all east cost island are fine. Sabah and Sarawak, also cool. Other than that, I would suggest u to dive locally first than going abroad. Infact, we do have one of the best dive site in the world. GO and explore....

Sorry, thought you are around here. If I were you, I would just go straight to the Red Sea (Egypt). Meditranean is a bit too cold unless u r used to it.

Yup. Red Sea was one of the option. But after my previous experiences around Egytpians, I'm not that keen going alone to Sharm Al Sheikh or Hurghada. Has anyone dive in the Red Sea?

Who went and dive at the Red Sea? Well I wasn't the one. My only experience in the Red Sea was not a great experience and this was in Aqabah, Jordan. I was snorkeling, minding my own business and I just couldn't be alone at sea for a minute!! Ada je mamat2 gatal nak snorkel sama.

Couldn't join the divers on that day who were definitely having great fun! Will try to go to Sharm al-Sheikh when I get friends to join me for safety reasons.

Me & Sheila are planning to go diving and from my research dive packages in the Philipines are the cheapest. Anyone kind enough to send in an itinerary and contact number?
