Hi all, I put a post on here earlier before I came to Malaysia, thanks for your replies- I have already made a local friend and dive buddy through this board

I am living in KK now, in 1Borneo, and looking to meet some local people who also like to dive. So if there is anyone here living in KK please send me a message !

Just joined this forum, should have done it earlier.

I was at TAR on 20-21 Oct. Nice dive sites.... took a few photos.

Hi Dirt-Diver,

Great to know that there are some nice dive sites in TAR KK! I always hear some "not-so-good" reviews about the place. Thinking to go there in Dec this year.

haha, diving in TARP... is like playing basketball on a normal sunday afternoon. you might get surprises or you might get bored.
i am local but only go dive at TARP avg once every 2 month..

LOL. Any idea when will be best time of the year to get 'surprises' in TARP?

Form my view TARP was great because I was comparing with Tioman & even Perhentian.

Those corals & fishes at East Coast island of Pen M'sia are dying. Maybe because too commercialized. Very often saw divers don't even bother to look where their fins are flipping. Killing the corals.

Fr me TARP is great. Planning to be back there in Dec. Hope we can catch up.

If You keen to do some Wreck Diving, do consider the 4 Wreck of Labuan Islands, we are the only PADI operator in Labuan.
Not to forget, you need to be an Advanced Diver - we do provide Nitrox to govern the Wreck

which wrecks do you use nitrox on?

owh, i thought there's no PADI operator in Labuan. Previously i work at Labuan and few of my friends taking NAUI OW diving course.I will try Wreck Diving in Labuan someday.It is possible for me to continue the Advance Diver Course with PADI if previously i take OW Course with SDI?
